Tour Programs

Day 1
Upon arrival, you will be picked from the airport and dropped to a hotel of your choice for an overnight.
Day 2
In the early morning, you will be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi. There will be a brief safari orientation (pre-departure meeting) of the safari, thereafter you will drive north past the equator to the northern frontier district. You will continue to the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve and check in to your tented camp. After lunch, there will be time to settle in before your first game drive adventure begins. At 4.00 p.m., you will set out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve. You will then return to the camp before dark for dinner, overnight, and relaxation.
Day 3
Wake up call will be at 6.00 a.m. At 6.30 a.m., you will set out for an early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the most popular game viewing time. During the early hours, temperatures are low, thus providing a favorable atmosphere both for the game and the viewer. Lion, cheetah, and leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal, so there will be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players, the spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe inspiring! You will be back at the lodge to enjoy your sumptuous breakfast. At 12.30 p.m., you will enjoy lunch in the lodge then it is time at leisure to relax by the swimming pool. The afternoon game drive will start at 4:00 p.m. You will then return to the campsite before dark for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
After an early morning breakfast at 7:30 a.m., you will depart for a morning game drive in the reserve as you exit. You will drive a southerly direction to the equator with a brief stop where the locals do a water demonstration to qualify the position of the equator. After the brief stop, you will drive to the Thompson Falls for a photo-stop and lunch, then down the Rift Valley. As you ascend the eastern wall of the Rift Valley lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver guides will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. You will have dinner and overnight at a budget hotel (Miale or similar).
Day 5
You will have full buffet breakfast and enjoy a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru, the home of the white rhino and flamingo. After a drive via Narok town to Mara National Reserve, the land of the Maasai tribe, you will have your lunch. The proud young Maasai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears will challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile game reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. You will have dinner and stay for the night at the camp Lenchada tourist camp or similar.
Day 6
After breakfast, you will leave with picnic lunch for full day which will be spent by game viewing and exploring the game reserve in search of the Big Five and other variety of wildlife game including: elephant, black rhino, buffalo, plains zebra, white-bearded gnu, oribi, warthog, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle, hartebeest, and the big cats. In addition, you will also see the hippo and crocodiles at the river as it is their home. You will leave the park in the evening and you can do a Masai visit or simply relax. You will have dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 7
On day six, you can choose to go on a hot air balloon safari (optional) or have an early morning game drive. You will return to the camp for breakfast, check out, and leave for Naivasha. You will arrive Naivasha in the afternoon and you can either visit Hells Gate National Park for cycling, game drive, rock climbing or you can go on a boat ride in Lake Naivasha. You will have dinner at a budget hotel and stay the night.
Day 8
After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Hells gate National Park, known for its beautiful rocks, scenic views, and the only park that you can cycle. Take advantage of this and walk around as it will be a beautiful memorable experience. After lunch, you will drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in the evening. You will have dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 9
You will spend a day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. There will be a variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen. You can also see the Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak if the weather conditions permit. There will be picnic lunch after the game drive. You will return to the camp for an overnight and dinner.
Day 10
There will be an early morning game viewing on day nine. You will then return to the camp for full breakfast, check out, and later drive back to Nairobi. You will have lunch on the way and will be arriving Nairobi in the late afternoon. You will be dropped at the airport to catch your flight or at your hotel for an overnight. You can also enjoy and familiarize yourself around Nairobi.
